Pierce is above all else someone who craves social approval and inclusion but is unable to get it. Due to his inability to really be part of the group instead of existing as the weird guy on the fringes, he tries to forcefully shove himself into social occasions where he isn't wanted, while being completely oblivious to people's attitudes toward him and frequently offending others with his bad-taste jokes, forceful attempts to join in the fun, or just out of date views due to being old. Everyone's consistent rejection of him eventually causes him to lash out at others and leads to him becoming the villain of season 2. This is clear strong, confident, and valued Se (consistent with Se base), along with Fe mobilizing, and Fi PoLR. I don't really have a strong argument for Ti creative but I think what I've already said is enough to type him as SLE, however for what it's worth, his frequent desire to dispense his wisdom by laying out clear rules for life to others (as misguided as he and his views are), seems like Ti. In addition, he is very suggestible to things involving a higher purpose in life, seen in him being part of a "Buddhist" cult which isn't even Buddhist. Se base, Fe mobilizing, Fi PoLR, and Ni suggestive are all very obvious, while there is also a decent argument to be made for Ti creative. Pierce is a very obvious SLE.

Biography

The oldest member of the study group; a local curmudgeon and a wealthy but lonely tycoon who attends Greendale primarily to find company and give himself something to do. Not nearly as smart or popular as he thinks, he tends to act inappropriately and thus come across as racist, sexist and buffoonish.
