Elizabeth is a realist- yes, she dreams about pirates, but that's the only indication in all of the movies that she could be a dreamer. She likes pirates not because of her Ne but because, throughout all her life she was brought up in a golden cage. She had a great home food, etc. but very little freedom as a high ranking woman in the 18th century. Her interest in pirates comes from the fact that they have everything she can't have- they can act out, don't care about what's proper, live spontaneously...(which appeals to her Se). ENFPs are also way more quirky and tend to have ''flights of fancy''. Elizabeth really is really more down to earth than heads in the clouds. She is more interested in what's real and tangible than in abstract and unrealistic concepts. Ne is one of the easiest functions to observe in other people, but I see barely any in Elizabeth, at least not enough for it to be her very first function. Also, people with high Ne tend to be individualists (like Jack whose first function is Ne, or Tia Dalma who also has high Ne) and while Elizabeth has some sense of individualism, she doesn't live up to the individualism of an Ne user.
Biography
Governor Swann's daughter, essentially a modern girl trapped in an eighteenth-century world, and keeper of the MacGuffin in the first film. Somewhere between The Heroine, the Action Girl and The Heart, she's the access character who — like the audience — grew up with heavily romanticized pirate stories. She's kind of a fan girl when if comes to pirates, but is a brilliant strategist when given the chance, and takes a level in badass between the first and second movies. Elizabeth is the center of a Love Triangle (or rather a Love Trapezoid) that contains Will, Jack and Norrington all trying to get with her.
