What personality type is Hayden Christensen? Hayden Christensen is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sp/sx - 496 in Enneagram, RCUAN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.
Rather surprised to see that the majority enneagram vote is 4w3. He’s mostly known as nice, humble, down-to-earth. If you look at behind the scenes footage of Star Wars he is pretty amiable and easygoing. He looks quite happy with a low-key rural life centred around raising his daughter and a few farm pets. Other common adjectives I read in YouTube comments about him are calm, polite, positive, sweet, grateful … All sounds pretty E9 to me. Plus if you sort comments by “Top” on this page, the first comment has a quote from him that screams E9. I’ve just voted 9w1 based on vibe plus I haven’t read reports on an occasional loss of temper or bout of assertiveness, but I wouldn’t object to 9w8. His answers to recent interview questions on how he interpreted Vader at this point in Anakin’s life were disappointingly lacking in elaboration to me. I think a 9w1 would have more intellectualisation going on there, whereas a 9w8 may have a more embodied approach to acting and thus have difficulties articulating their process. (I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt, it could also be that he hasn’t thought that much about the character lol.) So it’s a toss up between both wings for me. I’d also accept E6 before E4 - he seems to have no need to brand himself as different or flawed, and is instead quite satisfied with a normal life. There are reports of paranoia and reclusiveness. Some online commenters have speculated that his taciturnity is due to anxiety, because he’s more forthcoming in interviews with Ewan or that one video where he’s interviewed by a kid. BUT I think the anxiety and fear is a stress connection to 6 ignited by getting so much bad press for his portrayal of Anakin at a young age. So I think it can still be explained by type 9. I wonder if the 4w3 vote is from his emotionally intense onscreen performances + the rumours of withdrawing from Hollywood due to depression/anxiety + that brooding look he had in his twenties that was probably due more to facial features than personality. I’ve voted the 4 fix based off those onscreen performances … but yeah, not enough to be a core 4 to me.

Hayden Christensen (born April 19, 1981) is a Canadian actor and producer. He began his career on Canadian television at the age of 13, then diversified into American television in the late 1990s. He was praised for his acting as Sam in Life as a House (2001), earning Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
