A swordsman described as a worthy rival of one of Japan's prominent master swordsmen: Miyamoto Musashi. Sasaki was heralded as a genius of swordsmanship who mastered the Ganryuu school of swordplay at a young age. However, in the Nasuverse, "Sasaki Kojiro" was actually a fictional character; a blended conglomeration of stories about various swordsmen who fought against Musashi. As it is impossible for the Throne of Heroes to contain the soul of a fictional person, the "Sasaki Kojirou" summoned here is actually the person who is closest to the descriptions of Kojirou: a nameless swordsman from a humble farmstead who created the legendary "Swallow Reversal" technique attributed to Kojirou's legend. However, this restriction has been loosened due to the unique circumstances of the Grand Order and Chaldea's FATE system, allowing him to be summoned as a regular Servant.
