What personality type is Britt Lower? Britt Lower is an personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - - in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.

Relatively new to typing but I’ve been listening to a lot of Britt Lower interviews and I feel pretty confident she’s an INFP. I’ll explain my reasonings though and if you think they tie to a different type, let me know. In how she approached playing Helly from Severance, she explains using physical dance to understand how the character would move and talk as well as physically painting out the feelings Helly is going through so that she could step into the subconscious dream state since the character lacks cognitive memories of her life. I think this is a strong use of FiNe and a very evident Fi-dom. She also discusses finding inspiration for how she would play Helly’s character from many outside sources such as a documentary on twin brothers where one loses all his memories, videos of people escaping from courtrooms, videos of animals, etc. Ne at work here again. When talking about auditioning for Helly, she went into it thinking she wouldn’t get the part. So she made her self-tape with the mindset of how at least she got to be Helly in that moment. When discussing her first reading of Helly, she talks about her impression of how fun it is to play a character with such a feral quality to her. This all reminds me of how the FiNe tends to get more devoted and inspired by the unfolding of a story rather than the sum of its parts. In addition, Ben Stiller described her audition tape as “well directed”, “so cinematic”, and that she really took her time. Another example of her Ne at work is in exploring various activities such as joining the circus, painting faces, and learning self-directing. She is very individualistic and seems to have a solid grasp over who she is as a person and how she wants to interact with the world. She is also very good at seeing things from others’ point of view. When discussing the innie vs outie personas, regardless if it’s for her character or not, she always centers the discussion around the two different perspectives and how she finds empathy for both personas. To distinguish between how she portrays Helly vs Helena, she often talks about how she bases the similarities between the two in shared values. A very INFP approach Lastly, this is subjective evidence, but she always looks so kindly and thoughtfully at every individual when they’re speaking and acts so graciously and considerate toward others, always looking to defend others, which gives me strong Fi vibes.
