this is only based on personal experience and literally one person that I know btw my gf kinda shut herself from the whole world when her father's cancer got worse (at least that's what I think happened) and she didn't go to school anymore for 6 months. No one could reach her, not through WhatsApp, not through Genshin Impact (she wasn't even active on there anymore which was a bad sign) we all suspected that it had to do something with her father but because we couldn't reach her, we didn't know for sure (we turned out to be right though because when she was finally answering text messages again, she said that they went on his funeral several weeks ago). The only way we could know that she was still alive was through Genshin because you can see when someone last logged in. (she isn't usually active on WhatsApp and doesn't really use social media) Now she's in a mental hospital, and although she says she's fine, she needs to take medicaments because of her depression
