What personality type is Traveler? Traveler is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/sx - 692 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
Okay I've finally figured out why I think they're ISTP. If you go through their voice lines, there is little to nothing personal. And that could just be for plot purposes, but this is really the only personality they get in-game. Their discussions with Paimon are almost always analyzing or questioning the functions and customs of Teyvat. They consistently ask questions and use deductive reasoning to make conclusions. So they don't really know how the world works- they just guess. This seems pretty Ti to me, but there really is little to work with.
Biography
The character the player picked in the opening cutscene becomes their Player Character, one of two dimension-traveling twins stranded on the world of Teyvat following a terrible run-in with an enigmatic goddess. Separated from their sibling in this unknown world, the Traveler met Paimon after fishing her out of the sea by accident, under whose guidance they take an epic journey throughout Teyvat in search of its seven principal gods, the Archons, in the hopes of reuniting with their sibling and finding a way to regain their lost powers to travel through dimensions.
