What personality type is Namaari? Namaari is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - so/sp - 683 in Enneagram, RCOEN in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
honestly, i’m not sure where people are getting Ni? she’s not very aware of the future and rarely seems to be able to intuit things. instead, namaari follows with tradition and obsesses over stories of dragons. she may have been able to manipulate and betray raya, but she’s not planning it!! that’s clearly her mother’s doing, as she was most definitely instructed to do so. her mother even encourages to her to go with raya, to be friends with her, and gives her the tools to alert them. quite a sneaky plot on her mom’s part, but not at all namaari’s doing. we see some pretty heavy Fi development during her journey. she goes from unhealthily following tradition right into what her mother wants, but when she stops and examines her own feelings she makes the right choices!! her own morals are what she trusts in the end. we also see her make some spur of the moment Ne connections at the very end, too, thanks to raya’s just-in-time use of Ni. strikes me as an ISTJ character struggling to rely on their very important 3rd slot Fi, who cannot break from tradition but also cannot deny that it feels wrong. i’m voting 8w9 because i believe her growth at the end mirrors typical 8 growth. she becomes more like a 2, wanting to help and to care. and the w9 is due to her assistance in bringing around harmony. EDIT: i’ve changed my vote from 8w9 to 6w5 in light of her arrogant, validation seeking stress and her growth toward 9 instead of w9. she doesn’t seem to be personally motivated for harmony, but grows to be harmony focused as the story concludes. she is intensely loyal to Fang and her mother! her w5 also makes sense with how interested she is in getting answers, particularly about the concerning behaviors that others (namely raya) exhibit.
