(SPOILERS) I don't see how he'd be a core 1, if that's even in his tritype at all. He was never concerned about doing things the right way or being morally correct, EVEN his facade didn't show that. He only cared about his status and how he was seen by other people, if he were a 1w9, his motives for making a deal with the devil would have some mediocre excuse such as "but if you look at it differently, it helps all of us!", trying to convince himself and others that what he's doing is morally good. Yet, he doesn't do this, because he just wants to get ahead in life, he wants to continue the tradition of Sunnyvale being superior to Shadyside, he wants to feel successful and powerful. He is most likely a core 3 with a 2 wing, since he doesn't really show the desire of being admired by his individual skills but rather by how he helps the town. As well as this, there probably isn't a 1 in his tritype at all. He can 'act' like one but his actions seem a lot more 8-ish to me; the need to be in control of everything that's happening around him, having both of the towns at his grasp like puppets. If anyone wants to counter then go ahead.
