Gaius Valerius Catullus MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Gaius Valerius Catullus? Gaius Valerius Catullus is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/sp - 487 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.

Such a Type 4. He was such a romantic but also all about defying tradition and setting his own path. The case for him being an extrovert (which I agree with) is just how widespread his poetry became during his short life. I would imagine an introvert would not be quite as inciting and provocative in his language. He wanted to make it known that he disagreed with all poets being forced to write according to the tradition of Ennius. He usually addressed another person in his poetry whether Lesbian, a friend or an enemy. He's either a 4w3 or a 4w5. I could understand the case for an extroverted 4w5. The case for 4w5 over 4w3 is the fact that he did not care for accomplishments at all in his life time. he hated politics, lived in "otium" ("idleness, unemployment, leisure") and dwelt in his deep, dark thoughts whenever he was not with Lesbia.

Biography

Gaius Valerius Catullus was a Latin poet of the late Roman Republic who wrote chiefly in the neoteric style of poetry, which is about personal life rather than classical heroes. His surviving works are still read widely and continue to influence poetry and other forms of art. (Wikipedia)
