What personality type is Haiyen? Haiyen is an ISFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/sx - in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
"Someone to hold my hand like my grandfather, with that same warmth ... You were the first to do it" It's the phrase I needed to be sure that this character is an example of an unhealthy ISFJ, let me explain why. The first thing I thought when I saw Haiyen was what he is most recognized among the public, for how they saw him as someone friendly, courteous and polite, the first thing I thought about was an ISFJ but I was undecided going from ISTJ to ISFJ, or not a sensor. But after seeing all his appearances and especially his last moments, I was able to confirm that he was in a Si-Ti loop. (Remember that this could not be completely correct for the reason that this character and his past were not exposed to us so much, but this is what I could perceive from his few appearances) First, I'll explain why it is a Si Dom. We can see this with his obsession or immediate fascination with the finance minister, who, as he explains in the phrase cited above, confesses that he had an attachment due to the fact that he reminded him of his grandfather's SENSE of security and love. As we know, Si users are looking to compare sensory details from the past and try to recreate them in the future, since that is how they feel comfortable. Of course, this is not enough, but the whole story shows us that he is someone who remembers the details well, especially feelings from the past, and most of his actions were guided by his past, from who raised him and had him trust, his grandfather, to everything, in general, that could make him feel good as in the past, he sought familiarity. He was only looking for comfort. Let's remember that he was being manipulated by someone he loved and who had all his trust because it was his family and he raised him. That union made him dependent on him, where it wasn't possible to escape and he only accepted his orders, also he couldn't allow himself to use Fe to make important decisions, he only followed orders. Which forced him to use more Ti consistently. Things that are said about Si-Ti Loops is that they are people who can’t see that emotional dysfunction causes a poor state of personal life; emphasizes “reason” yet can’t explain oneself/solve problems/accept criticism and claims to be “true to self” yet motivated by reactions to social pressures. Taking this into account and his person as such, I would believe that if he hadn't been manipulated we could easily see an ISFJ, not selfish and completely healthy.
