(THIS IS NOT MY ARGUMENT) Here's this person's Tiktok if you want to know where I got it from: @phatbunny_ "Let's talk about his character and what I think his MBTI is. I've spent a long time right now just pondering on this and I am pretty convinced that he is a INFP. I have deducted that this character is so strongly led by Introverted Feeling which is Fi, their dominant function Hyunwoo is always always motivated intrinsically and not caring about people around him or what they think about him. When he married Hain and found out she was a rich "Jaebol" daughter. He didn't really care about what it gave him in terms of reputation, money, prestige, he chose to marry her because he was deeply in love with her and even afterwards, that's why he stayed with her. I've seen some people argue that he might be an INFJ. But an INFJ would care more about the prestige and the reputation Hyunwoo is not swayed by people's opinions. Even when they got a divorce. And there was negative press about him. He told his best friend he didn't care at all. But once his friend starts mentioning that they were smack talking hain, he threatens to sue them INFPs are highly protective people and have very deep emotions. Why do you think Hyunwoo is like crying all the time? This man wears his heart on his sleeve. But he has the hardest time talking about them, even to his best friend. One might think that him doing the same thing over and over again, is maybe something like "routinely" such as when they were spying on him to try to get something out of him. He was found to be eating the same restaurant meal like every night going on runs and yelling, going to the batting cage, I see this more as him processing his feelings and thoughts. He just has so much pent up and he doesn't know how to release them. So he chooses to kind of do a lot of things that are rituals where he has the space to be free with himself and just process alone, an INFJ would be more likely to console other people and take their advice. However, for some reason, Hyunwoo is always fighting these battles alone. And there are big decisions to make, He also processes that all by himself, and is super stubborn about it. I don't think there's any other types that are more of a hopeless romantic than INFPs are when Hyunwoo realized that he was falling for Haein all over again. And it was starting to become apparent to his best friend, his friend tried to kind of dig it out of him because he could tell that he'll know was starting to like her. And he kept denying it. But it was really cute because it was still so obvious that he was lying. Or maybe he just didn't want to admit it and was just being stubborn with himself. I think his secondary function. Extroverted intuition is what makes him a really good lawyer. He's super witty and quick on his feet, when he was about to get killed in that car accident thing and the guy had the needle up his neck, he was quick to make negotiations with him like "hey, maybe you should call your killer and see if he's going to pay you anyways," like the fact that he was able to think about that while he's about to get killed. He also has a strong moral compass and this shows throughout the entire series, even when he was a kid, and they show him saving Haein as a child, he risked his own life to save a stranger because he saw that the mom was so in distress and crying for help. Kono is always acting true to his core beliefs and values no matter what people say. Even if people say he shouldn't do something or that he's crazy. He sticks by what he believes is the good thing to do. I also think it's super cute that he doesn't care what anyone thinks except Haein herself, he is loyal almost to a fault and you could see his little impulsive hopeless romantic side come up such as when he buys the ring for Haein and and is like: "will you cancel the divorce" and he kind of back tracks like "Oh yeah, I'm sorry, that was probably too much and too impulsive." It's really cute because a lot of this time like he acts so cold and aloof. But deep down he's just a boy madly in love. I think that's why Haein even falls for him because he is so aloof and dorky, he has like that innocent charm that haein, coming from her background probably thought was so cute."
