no idea why Lucas is typed 1w2 i thought he was very obviously a 6.. he seems much more concerned over personal safety rather than perfection and what is right or wrong. "You heard him, he's cutting me off. How are we gonna live?" "If I'm going to be a writer we're gonna need my father's help." regarding his marriage plans with Wednesday he’s extremely concerned over their financial safety the whole issue with telling their parents they're getting married was because Lucas was terrified of being cut off from the financial support of his father. he didn’t hesitate because of what he deemed proper or right he was simply concerned over the stability of their relationship and living situation. when Wednesday tells him they'll just "live off the land" in response to his concerns, he sarcastically says that it’s a practical plan and criticizes it for its undependability. during their fight he’s conflicted because he values the support of his family as well as Wednesday equally. initially, he chooses his family’s support for the sake of harmony/stability, but later makes up with Wednesday and proves his loyalty in “Crazier Than You”. i wouldn’t go as far as to say that this decision wasn’t made when he was in the right mind, but his actions in this scene were obviously a drastic change from his usual practical self. Lucas himself reminds the audience that he is not impulsive or deranged the dangerous trust-test was only to prove his loyalty, devotion, and commitment to Wednesday after previously betraying her. "What was I gonna do? You gave me that look before like when you kill a pigeon" his attraction towards Wednesday also seemed to stem from an unconscious desire for someone stronger/more capable than him as he compares her to Diana the Huntress with her bow and arrow (a very subtle and extremely subjective detail but it felt worth mentioning) "I can be impulsive. I just need to think about it first.” i took this line as Lucas saying he needed to make sure the [impulsive] decision wasn't detrimental towards him or his situation essentially making sure he’ll remain safe and secure "Let's go back in the house and make some rational decisions." this quote as well as the previous are also evidence of his Si dominance, but that really goes without saying. his Si dom-ness and values for tradition might also contribute to him coming off as a 1 on surface level. Lucas wanting his parents’ blessings before marrying as well as him saying he should be the one to announce it since he's the man bolsters this as well. “If our fear primarily revolves around concerns about livelihood and sustenance, we are likely to be a self-preservation subtype.
