Signora MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Signora? Signora is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - sx/sp - 136 in Enneagram, SLOEN in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
Between 8w7 sp/so and 1w2 sx/sp, they're both equally likely to me. I don't know how the hell 3w4 is winning over 8w7 when she has such a strong want for appearing strong. The way she's described by her own subordinates and her fellow Harbingers (especially Childe) really told me sp8. (big spoilers up ahead) First, I'm going to argue against the ENTJ voters here. Childe describes Signora in this way: "Instead of choosing to confront you directly, she chose to rely on the snow and ice to make her escape. She wouldn't want the Knights to come running towards the sound of battle, now, would she? When she faces a worthy opponent, she will prioritize her mission, weigh the outcomes, and consider the consequences of her actions." Signora and Childe are polar opposites when it comes to their approach to battle. Childe enjoys the thrill of a battle and the struggle against a worthy adversary. He will scale the power of his opponent and hold back until his opponent brings out their true power. His Se dominance is quite obvious in this regard. Signora on the other hand wishes to avoid conflict if necessary, and focuses on the mission. She slithers her way out of combat and has her way of getting what she wants without the need for battle (ambush on Venti and the Traveler to steal Venti's gnosis, negotiating with Zhongli to steal his gnosis). Signora uses Te-Ne in order to obtain what she wants without the need to struggle and fight for it. She doesn't WANT to go down that route either, as opposed to Childe's jarring Se who loves the atmosphere of an intense fight. In addition to this, Signora doesn't possess the Se qualities that her fellow Harbinger Scaramouche has. Scaramouche, while not exactly more showing of his love for fight and struggle as Se dom Childe does, definitely seems to enjoy his efficiency through force approach. He gets his mission done effectively and doesn't let obstacles get in the way. He sees to it that everything that happens will happen according to his plan (also an Ni quality that Signora doesn't possess). His ruthless approach to things is reeking of ENTJ. Signora has a more calculating and careful approach. She doesn't exactly care about a fight or a struggle. She isn't set on one ideal. Like Childe describes earlier in the story, she considers her choices and makes sure that her mission is accomplished perfectly. She doesn't allow any room for imperfection and allows things to take time. It's because of her Si/Ne carefulness that the Tsaritsa have 2 gnosis. Si's a good talking point. Even when she's ultimately defeated by the traveler, she clings onto the fact she's a Fatui diplomat and that killing her would cause unrest with the Tsaritsa, but of course, she's killed. The reason she joined the Fatui in the first place was due to sacrificing her body for power after the death of her beloved (the biggest reason I believe she's an 8: after the death of her beloved she strived to do anything and everything for power and the image of power, whether it be her fighting capabilities or her position as a Harbinger). Her entire reason for joining the Tsaritsa, gaining as much power as she could, and helping obtain the Tsaritsa's vision is because of what happened in the past- now I'm in no way shape or form saying that Si is JUST about the past. Si by definition is a subjective sensory function that relates previous experience to new ones as opposed to Se's objective "in the moment" sensory function. I'm just saying that it's more likely for Signora to be Si > Se because a lot of her actions are influenced by negative events that happened in the past. 8 vs 1 is something I always struggled with for Signora since both sides present a good argument. sx1 definitely has a lot of ground due to the things she does just to fulfill the Tsaritsa's vision. In addition, she seems rather keen on purifying the world, but I think sp8 also has a substantiated claim. You'd think if she was an sx1, her Fi would be a lot more present, but it isn't. Her "ideal" for the world is really just the Tsaritsa's ideal for the world. She reminds me a lot of Kujou Sara in the way that both trust their leaders for how things should be. Signora never doubts the Tsaritsa's vision though- now this is where things get hazy and it could be up for interpretation. sp8 is more impersonal and gets things done for the sake of what must be done. sx1 is more personal and gets things done for the sake of what they believe is right. I'm not saying sx1 is wrong through any stretch of the imagination. If anything, her 8 and 1 seem very prominent to me. I just want to give some food for thought and would love to bounce ideas off of someone.
