What personality type is Hayley Leake? Hayley Leake is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - so/sp - in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
Interesting choice of votes so far (one INTJ, one INFJ as of 8/24/21). I didn't think Hayley's dominant function was Ni (I personally was leaning more towards ENTP with well-developed Fe), but I can see where others might see it. Of the two Ni dominate types, she seems closer to INFJ. Her Fe seems too well-developed to be her Trickster/PoLR function. At the very least, I'll stick with INFJ for now until more votes are added so others can find her profile easier since having a page represented by "XXXX" can make it difficult to find (and Hayley will likely be the most sought out castaway of the season). It's worth noting that of the INFJ's shadow functions, Ne is one of the easier ones to cultivate partly due to how high it is in the stack, so it wouldn't be surprising if Hayley developed her extroverted intuition throughout life or through her profession as a pain researcher. She seemed to be fusing Ni and Ne together in her attempts to get the target off her back in episodes 14 and 15. After asking herself "what if I did XYZ to get myself off the chopping block?" she knew what words needed to be said to each individual based off her read on them (unfortunately for her, it was too late). For example, Hayley knew based off her read on Dani that the latter highly valued having "shields" around. We, the audience, knew her read was correct because Dani had been saying all season that she was aligning with people she viewed as shields, with Simon being her biggest.
