What personality type is Tobias Hawthorne? Tobias Hawthorne is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/so - 358 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
Although we never meet Tobias in person, I think his riddles and ridiculous long-term planning (SPOILERS AHEAD) pretty clearly point to Ni. He started creating the game 20 years ago, adding on pieces as they fell into place, including Avery's name and the significance of October 18th. I was going to say INTJ at first, but taking "A Very Risky Gamble" with the different variables seems like much higher Se- either tert or aux. (Stalking Avery for 11 years is also a very XNXJ thing to do.) Since we don't meet him in person, it's hard to say whether he was a Fe or Te user; but, given the harshness of the morals he puts into the game (I'm sure he knew how much it would hurt Grayson and Jameson to use Emily's death date as a clue) and the ruthless way he forced the boys to be brilliant at everything during his lifetime, he seems like Te dom, Fi inf. This also fits the stereotype of ENTJ being the puppetmaster remotely controlling everything! Not an argument for his type, but it's cool how it lines up.
