What personality type is Melissa Talks? Melissa Talks is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - so/sp - 852 in Enneagram, SLOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

For once, I'm actually going to vote on her four-letter type, because it's very obvious to me that she's not an ENTP or ILE. ENTJ or ENFJ could work, but I appreciate that ENFJ will be the harder sell in MBTI land. At least in Socionics, an average IQ, highly neurotic EIE makes a lot of sense. I had thought some kind of strange, intellectually challenged LIE before, but I have come to think that's not giving Melissa her due. Her skill is in marketing her channel and planning videos that will bring in views, even if the logic behind the information she gives out is totally incoherent and the ideas themselves are either 1) parroting actual type theorists, or projections of her personal life onto the 'moniker'. In addition, Melissa seems far more brand-focused than she is interested in developing competence in typology, avoiding any opportunity to learn even privately from those who disagree with her, and has taken any doubt over her self-typing far more personally than an LIE would care for. Some important points about ENTP... ENTPs aren't naturally intense, don't make a big show of being dominant, assertive people, and certainly won't boast about being able to quickly decide whether they like people or not. They don't interpret everything about Si in terms of helping them to 'achieve' more. They want to relax and enjoy life more. ENTPs say 'yes' to things, and keep possibilities open but Melissa tightly controls what is allowed on her channel, and sets the scope of what she wants people to talk about. She arranged and then cancelled our collaborative session that was going to be on her YouTube channel, I think because she saw a comment of mine saying her ENTP videos displayed Gamma NT values. She also made it clear beforehand that she DIDN'T want to talk about Socionics much, because she was unfamiliar with it. That was a risky possibility she wanted to close down right away. Also people have correctly pointed out that her new video shows that she does not immediately grasp the Ti point that a channel about being an ENTP is not going to work if the person is not the type they say they are. Instead, she defaults to data comparisons to supposedly 'prove' that she is in the right, or at least, hasn't mucked things up for herself. Her Te is stronger than Ti. Has accused me of "harassment and stalking" for making my point of view on her type publicly clear. UPDATE: I was invited to join a server called 'Dank' on Discord by a friend. Later, this friend was told by Melissa whom she was collaborating with (didn't know that until later), that she didn't want me to be on the server, and as a result I was asked to leave. So, Melissa is using the full extent of whatever influence she has to cancel someone for disagreeing with her in public. Doesn't sound very ENTP to me.
