i’ll post this as its own separate comment too throughout the episode i saw a clear Ni dom and i was on the fence for a while during most of the episode between Fe/Ti and Te/Fi (INxJ) but when they stopped everything because they saw eda was suffering during her performance and dropped a photo and went: “eda do you have kids?? i don’t know what youre running from. [implying Ni—they know eda is running from something based on how she’s been acting] but a great witch once told me something about punching fears in the face [Ni dom uses metaphors and analogies and like to bring aphorisms up as they relate to the present situation, this is an example of that, as the present moment is an example of the concept they’re conveying—the “thing-in-of-itself”]. what i’m trying to say is, don’t give up so easily. they probably need you more than you realize.” that’s when it clicked it was INFJ for me. the Fe/Ti axis is more naturally wired to seek knowledge in a form that is abstracted from the individual’s personal situation, while the Te/Fi axis is more naturally wired towards making sure that the individual’s personal desires are transformed into reality. i think Te aux would’ve kept playing because what they were currently doing was the most efficient way to get rid of belos’s minions. it doesn’t mean they couldn’t have sympathized with eda, but it would’ve been what had needed to be done. raine had to stop everything, stop the efficiency, because they noticed eda was hurting and felt for her directly instead of in an internalized way. “they probably need you more than you realize“ is also a signifier of Fe as they’re sort of “speaking for others” if that makes sense?? it’s hard to put into words but i’m trying. Ti is subtle but it’s what underlies the Fe, they go hand in hand. see https://functionaxes.carrd.co/#jhome above everything else though the Ni dom is clear as day. their enneagram 6 could make them appear a lot colder/serious and more guarded than a typical INFJ, but i’m seeing Ni dom for SURE and more Fe than Te aux.
