What personality type is Cabby? Cabby is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sx/sp - 513 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
I think that Cabby is enneatype 5 over 3, though I think 3 can be in her tritype. Yes, she has 3 tendencies like having a clear goal of winning challenges, but this can be explained by her being in a reality show where everyone strives to win. If anything I think Silver Spoon is the true 3 stereotype of this show, as he is egotistical, commanding and really cares about his image (I think it is fair to compare characters to see type similarities or differences). Cabby has a lot of type 5 tendencies, it's just that because she is very extroverted she doesn't show the typical 5 traits of being reserved and antisocial. First of all, hoarding info about other contestants is her main deal. Cabby is confident in her information gathering and attention to detail in her files, to the point of relying on them too much. Her website description says it all: "She's a fastidious author of countless files, which seem to contain information about everyone and everything. If it's at all interesting, or even just a plain and simple fact, Cabby wants to know it". 5s also want to be useful: she goes out of the way to share her files with others and uses them to help her team win. On the contrary, if someone questions type 5s' knowledge or competence, they can get defensive. Cabby got angry at Fan for taking her files without permission and assuming the worst about her because she listed his weaknesses in them. Continuing on the topic of wanting to be seen as useful, her alliance with Test Tube is important. You can see Cabby's reaction to Test Tube's betrayal in her Exit Interview, where she seems devastated by it, saying that all she wanted was friendship. This all is of course a result of her not taking other people's feelings into account and not thinking outside of patterns. I really like how despite Cabby acting morally dubious, she is never really objectively wrong, as all the things she listed in her files are correct. I think this is a common thing among type 5s, who's main focus is gathering knowledge instead of working on their relationships. Another thing is I think it would be interesting if Fan, Test Tube and Cabby were all type 5, because they act as narrative foils of each other.
