What personality type is Doyoung (TREASURE)? Doyoung (TREASURE) is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sp/sx - in Enneagram, SCOAN in Big 5, in Socionics.
just a disclaimer, i know doyoung got ENTJ on his 16personalities test and that is not reliable, however i do believe he is an ENTJ based on his cognitive functions. to start, i can see some reasoning behind the conclusion of him being an ESTP, however i simply do not feel like he fits the nature of an ESTP. i won’t go on about trying to disprove him being an ESTP but instead state why i feel he is an ENTJ. i don’t really know how to explain his dom Te i just feel it is obvious. he is logically minded, straightforward, goal oriented, ambitious, no-frills type of person. though being direct opposites, i have seen a lot of confusion between Ni and Se on this website. for example clear INFJ’s being typed as ISFP’s because their ‘creativity’ clearly shows ‘sensory connection to the world around them’, creativity does not just mean high Se! as for someone like doyoung we all know he loves to express himself through his sense of fashion, knowing him, he has discussed before how he has struggled to know how to properly express himself but managed to start doing it through what he wears. do not get me wrong i am not saying he Se is non-existent, it is there and i think it works well and very healthily in relationship with his aux Ni. i also feel he very much has the humour of an intuitive. i don’t think a sensor would consider playing on words/wording the way he often does. as for his Se i do believe he does have a good relationship with it. he can be observant of his surroundings and uses it to express himself. he does lack the relaxed, spontaneity of a high Se user however - he also can be inflexible when he feels he knows best and isn’t always ‘go with the flow’ like many assume he is (watch him when he is cooking, he finds it frustrating when others try intervene when he feels he knows what he’s doing, i can’t quite remember the episode but in season one of t-map i remember seeing him in the background getting a little irritated because they were cooking and jihoon had done something he wasn’t happy with, i thought it was quite telling). also, he is in no way lax when it comes to his environment (typically high Se users do not like the restrictions of order) we have seen his room in episodes of t-map and it is nothing but minimalistic, functional and neat as a pin. i think despite his age he has a fairly well developed Fi and i think he consciously works on his sense of self-identity (his expression through his style). i feel you can see his Fi inferiority when he can get slightly heated with emotion which plays in to my previous point with his lacking Se, whilst stuck to what he feels is right and not having the relaxed attitude, he also showed a slight, sudden, emotional heat from what is presumably an undeveloped Fi he may sometimes struggle to control causing minor emotional outbursts. he rarely shows huge amounts of empathy to his other members which ruled out the idea of Fe for me, also when treasure were babysitting the children he seemed like he found it a little difficult to connect with the younger children and seemed to be relying solely on his Te to figure how to connect with them. at the end of the day this is all a bit of fun and speculation but i hope this gave an insight to my choice to put him as an ENTJ. as for enneagram i have done no where near enough research to comment on that.
