What personality type is Chrollo Lucilfer? Chrollo Lucilfer is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - so/sx - 549 in Enneagram, in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.
When I first saw Chrollo was rated as INFJ I was thinking? What??!!! This guy is a clear example of a great Te/Ti. His fights and abilities are all surrounded with a major element of Thinking. Then I remembered two very deep internal engines of Chrollo Lucifer personality: 1. Extreme love for the people he trust He is not just the leader of the Phantom Trupe, he deeply care about each one of the members, like a real Feeler. This happen because he truly believes each one is a single part of his soul, like a real Idealist. When a member of his group die, Chrollo cries like a part of his body was ripped off. For him, it is better he dying instead of the Phantom Troupe members! 👆 This is due to a high Fe 2. Extreme Ideals that he follows the entire life He follows his ideals in such a strong way that he is even willing to die for his ideals. We can notice that when Kurapika locked him inside his chains and he really was not caring about his own life in favor of the Phantom Troupe. For Chrollo, he was just another replaceable member of the Troupe. I don't think any other member would think the same when in danger. Everything can be done to maintain his ideals. 👆 This is due to a high Ni, aligned with a secondary Fe that put the group above himself. This one reminded me of a lot of other INFJs that sacrificed for their ideals. 1. Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) - INFJ 2. Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter) - INFJ 3. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) - INFJ 4. Jesus Christ (God) - INFJ 5. Chrollo Lucilfer (Hunter x Hunter) - INFJ 6. Edward Cullen (Twilight) - INFJ 7. Kiritsugu Emiya (Fate/Zero) - INFJ 8. Yachiru Unohana (Bleach) - INFJ 9. Adolf Hitler (Hitler) - INFJ 10. Norman (The Promised Neverland) - INFJ => This one is really smart and logical, but he applies his logic intelligence to a final goal related to his values. Exactly like Chrollo Lucilfer. The major cognitive function for INFJ is Ni, which stands for: "The psychic who knows what's best for everyone more than they know themselves" This characteristic is really strong on Chrollo and is related to the members of the Phantom Trupe. I still think Chrollo fighting style is very INTP (or INTJ) as he can think profoundly about visions and possibilities to win a fight, coming up with very original unexpected, brilliant, GENIUSES ideas. We can see that on his fight against Hisoka. However, overall, Chrollo is an INFJ. INTP/INTJ doesn't put so much prioritization on his ideals like Chrollo do. Chrollo strong thinking is not his target, it is just a weapon used in the middle of the process with the intention to defend his ideals on the end. It is Ti serving NiFe on INFJ stack: NiFeTiSe INTP/INTJ (rationalists) would not die for his ideals without blinking like the INFJ (idealist) would do. It is very INFJ.
