Biography
Although Declan O'Conor never wanted to be in the military, his parents believed their son should be prepared for a violent world after the chaos they witnessed during the Troubles. When he turned 18, O'Conor joined the Irish Defense Forces. During his service, he often had physical altercations with his peers and superiors. One incident almost sent him to a military prison, but he was given a choice by one of the men he fought with, a Captain in the Army Ranger Wing, either he would join the ARW or leave the military entirely. O'Conor chose to join the Army Ranger Wing, where he participated and led operations in counterterrorism and insurgency, hostage rescues, and special reconnaissance. By 2022, O'Conor became a contractor for the KorTac private military company.
