I thought that she is a 5 instead of a 6 because I think she's always feared being incapable/incompetent. Like when she lost her abilities, she was devastated and began to fall into a depressive state. To manage this she tried to train up on her physical combat so she can regain that sense of competence and ability to stand up for herself.
