I think a lot of people confuse being artistic and being creative. In my opinion, if we look the functions, ISFP is artistic because of Se and INFP is creative with lots of imagination because of Ne. I don't say that INFP can't be artistic and ISFP can't be creative, but ISFP with Se aux have more facilities for anything artistic techniques. They are more connected to their senses and the real world. As an INFP myself, I am very frustrated because a lack of Se. I have a vivid imagination but with too many difficulties to express them via an artistic support (because I'm not patient to learn and too idealist and frustrated that the result isn't what I see in my head).
Biografie
Art is a diverse range or product of human activity involving creative imagination to express technical proficiency, beauty, emotional power, or conceptual ideas. There is no generally agreed definition of what constitutes art, and ideas have changed over time. The three classical branches of visual art are painting, sculpture, and architecture. Theatre, dance, and other performing arts, as well as literature, music, film and other media such as interactive media, are included in a broader definition of the arts. Until the 17th century, art referred to any skill or mastery and was not differentiated from crafts or sciences. In modern usage after the 17th century, where aesthetic considerations are paramount, the fine arts are separated and distinguished from acquired skills in general, such as the decorative or applied arts.
