i see you ENFP voters, i really do, but yall need to look at the inferior functions for this one. Yes, Miguel engages with his Te far more than he does his Si. The key here, though, is that whenever Miguel touches his Te it's always in an unhealthy way. During season 1 finale, when Miguel tells Johnny that it's "no mercy." When he kicks Robby in the shoulder. The way he approached the Sam situation. His straightforward, impulsive decision to find his dad. These all occur during moments of stress for Miguel. It's not in the usual, normally healthy manner of the tertiary functions. It's in the overexerted style of inferior functions. Also Miguel doesn't have any inferior Si. His main issue is not with paying attention to details, being engaged with the sensory world, or struggling to balance all the plates in his life. These are issues, *sure*, but they're not his main problem. Miguel's main problem is that whenevr he subscribes to agreed-upon group standards/systems (which is Te!!), he ends up doing a 180 and doing something morally wrong, which grieves his Fi. Miguel's main issue is that he constantly shuts down his Fi to listen to his misguided senseis because "they know better" and he trusts them (Te values group reasoning) and that makes him do something wrong. This is immature Te usage. it lacks the finesse that a tertiary Te user would have over it at his age. His Te is so immature that it has to inferior.
