The only mughal empire dude who does not make me want to bang my head to the wall. Do not know many people before him but after him it was just sad. To be honest I have issues with Shah Jahan too. Actually I have issues with kings who pay no attention to the growth of their kingdom especially spiritually and educationally and waste their time in luxury that their position offers them.
Biografie
The Last Great Mughal Sultan who unified India under his rule which lasted 49 years . He was the son of Sultan Shah Jahan who famously commissioned the construction of the Taj Mahal as a tomb for his deceased wife. In contrast Sultan Alamgir commissioned a compendium of Islamic Law in accordance with the Hanafi school of jurisprudence.
