I feel that the second book has a lot more Ni than the first one but both her Si and Ni are balanced if we are referring to the 2nd and 1st book. In the first book she was consumed by impressions and sensations of her past and ways to figure it out (Si and Ne) but in the 2nd book she ass quesstions about the present and what is going on, she sees the patters and connects them to the murders and she feels this sort of connection to Sammy and that. The 2nd book isn't that focused on the past and her impressions but on the crimes and how they're linked to Freddy's and her father's house, it combines past and present with the underlying meaning but Charlie doesn't dwell much on the past but on deaths and their meaning. I'll go with INFJ for now but she could also be ISFJ. (+she showed a lot of type 4 with how she felt incomplete without Sammy and how she needed to figure her past and present out, blah blah blah)
