The entire movie is Tyler making an inferior-Ni case for Se being the most important function. His criticism builds on the idea that we have to experience life in the most REAL sense possible and get rid of all other distractions that cannot be found in the present. He does not see the world as an implementation of NeTi ideas, but criticizes overly abstract concepts that go against his over-simplistic & unchanging philosophy of "being present at all times and rejecting abstract constructs in favor of physicality"
