Looking at INTJ votes, I can safely conclude that people often confuse tactics with strategy. Although similar and often used in conjunction with each other strategy and tactics are completely different qualities. Strategy typically involves long-term planning focusing on future possibilities. Tactics, on the other hand are concerned with short-term actions based on the current scenario. Strategy requires deep insight and understanding while tactics demand quick and decisive action. Wars or pre-battle planning are strategic in nature whereas fighting and navigating in-field battles or threats or grabbing opportunities are tactical. If we consider tactical intelligence based on precision and calm logic ISTPs are far ahead. They are arguably more rapid thinkers, especially when cool logic and solitary execution are needed.
