EDIT: I was wrong. Yes- his Ne is extremely apparent to us. His creativity, jumping from topic to topic, etc. BUT, Fi is a varied function and looks different in everyone because it’s an internal compass: so it’s much harder to measure in someone you don’t personally know and someone who doesn’t let any unhealthy tendencies of Fi to be shown. (E.g is easier to spot unhealthy/ less mature IxFP’s because Fi is used in an obvious way) Time & time I keep noticing how prominent his Si usage is, in ways that ENFPs just don’t use. Enfp’s inferior function is Si- so we shouldn’t really see much use of it at all. Yet with Phil- he’s extremely nostalgic, he remembers his childhood in detail and describes stories in detail. His clear Si usage is exemplified when he said “sometimes when I’m sad and miss my old house I go on Google maps & just sit there”. That is exactly how Si shows up in Infp’s- seeking comfort in past experiences tied to something that emotionally impacted us. I was so wrong. Infp’s are very varied people in general and I just couldn’t see it. But now I can’t ignore how much he uses Si. I was blinded by the Ne dom argument- but of course we are going to notice this function the most because it’s the function that allows him to succeed in his career. Philip Michael Lester (born 30 January 1987) is an English YouTuber and presenter. He is best known for his YouTube channels AmazingPhil and Dan and Phil (formerly DanAndPhilGAMES). Active since 2006, AmazingPhil is considered among the first notable British YouTubers. He is known for his frequent collaboration with his partner, Daniel Howell, as part of the entertainment duo Dan and Phil. Together, they presented the Sunday night entertainment show Dan and Phil on BBC Radio 1 from January 2013 until August 2014, and from September 2014 to April 2016 the duo were monthly hosts on the station's The Internet Takeover slot.
