"Quel type de personnalité est Phil Lester (AmazingPhil)? Phil Lester (AmazingPhil) est un type de personnalité INFP dans MBTI, 9w1 - sp/so - 964 dans Enneagram, RCUAI dans Big 5, EII dans Socionics."
fi is harder to notice, especially in 9w1 than ne is. id agree he's more on the ambiverted side, but I don't think he's a cognitive extrovert. INFPs can appear to use more NE than FI. take Kurtis for example. it's not about how much you see on the outside, it's about his internal thought patterns. if you ever listen to a Phil story of him being out and about you'll notice they tend to stem from him being too shy to say something because he's overthinking the consequences and all the different possibilities and ways it could be perceived, which ultimately leads to a worse outcome. you may then think "yeah, the overthinking is NE Dom," but while ENFPs may be shy, analysis paralysis about social interactions is specifically an INFP FI-SI pairing. INFPs notoriously struggle with inaction caused by their deep internal NE dialogue, while their SE block makes them appear very disconnected from the world around them and often miss things in the real world that seem very obvious to people around them. they are prone to overthinking conversations and actions they take much more than an ENFPs. NE doms tap into TE easier to accomplish things and are able to harness kinetic energy in social interactions far easier. NE analysis paralysis is more like "I thought about creating/doing so many things I couldn't decide on just one and ended up doing nothing." ENFPs are cognitive extroverts which means it's easier for them to interact with the world around them, whereas INFPs tend to much prefer keeping their NE tendencies to a mental realm where they don't have to expend much physical energy, which for all Phil's ambiverted energy, I think suits him much better.
Biographie
Phil is a vlogger who has been making YouTube videos since 2006. Phil is enthusiastic, childlike, and also possibly insane. He frequently collaborates with YouTuber/roommate/best friend Dan Howell, and even hosts two collaboration series of sorts on his channel— the seasonal baking videos (alternate years), and "Phil is Not On Fire", ostensibly a Q&A show, but one that answers very little, with no normal prompts and lots of bizarre and amusing improv instead. He and Dan also share a gaming channel at DanAndPhilGAMES. Any tropes relating to those videos should go on that page. In addition to his online content, he and Dan co-host a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1.
