Some people in the comment section wonder why Ranma is an ESTP. I can explain why. It's simple to figure out due to low Fe (the Ti is rather difficult to explain here). Ranma's a character who was specifically created to be a reckless, insensitive and straightforward guy. He's realistic and observes his surrounding way too well. We all won't deny that he's a Se-Dom. However, considering his low Fe it is easy to see that he really does not care much about emotions. He doesn't understand emotions well. Neither his own, nor others. He hurts a lot of people by just being himself and not taking care of what to say. The problem moreso is: After being told that he is hurtful, he most of the time doesn't even see it to be his responsibility to fix it. "I was being honest. Suck it up, buttercup." Look at Ryoga, for example. He's an ISFP and despite having told Ranma about his feelings and how he was treated unfairly by him in middle school, Ranma simply didn't see the point. To him all the bully was actually just for fun. If Ranma was an ESFP he would hear it and feel bad afterwards. Because usually, a high Fi-user has this mantra: "If I want to be treated fairly, I need to treat others fairly, too." Which is not the case for Ranma. He lacks to understand people. That's why low Fe makes sense. I would have understood if he was mistyped as an ISTP, but... ESFP really does not fit at all.
Biografie
The main character of the series. A teenage master of Supernatural Martial Arts, generally assumed to be sixteen years old. Like most of the other cast members, a very contradictory character, possessing both positive and negative attributes — he can be sensitive and thoughtful one moment, and brash and insulting the next. Cursed to turn into a girl whenever he's doused with cold water because of his father's stupidity, then bound in an Arranged Marriage he never even knew about until he was practically at the girl's doorstep. Needless to say, he doesn't get on too well with his father. When it comes to Akane, Ranma's general attitude and Akane's mild dislike of men initially drives them to clash more often than not. But, as the story goes on, he gets to know her better and ends up genuinely caring for her as a person.
