I think she's either 4w3 disintegrating into 2 or 3w4. Why? Because we don't see her in that movie in her natural state. Throughout the whole movie she is trying to find herself in unfamiliar circumstances, in an environment that is not for her at all. She acts nervously and tries to people please everyone, because she is in her stress state. That's why it's easy to mistype her as 2. The original desire of Andy was to get her dream job, which is writing for a New Yorker. At the beginning of the movie we see her as a little bit dorky and passionate about journalism. She's also really competent in what she was originally studying. She is ambitious and determined, and she quickly wants to gain Miranda's validation and approval hence why the 3 wing, as well as sp instinct - she doesn't let herself sunk in melancholy and feelings of specialness, she wants to "earn" her place in the world. The problem which she has though, is that she ignores the importance of image. Not only she doesn't realise how unfit she is for that job, she also finds the behavior of other employees and their focus on image and prestige a little bit funny. In one scene she snorts under her nose about how Miranda and others are nervously trying to find the right belt for the dress. She stands out there, really poorly dressed, priding herself in not fitting in there, until Miranda points her out that she is not as unique and "not like other girls" as she thinks she is. This also indicates her social blind, she doesn't read the room at all. That's when Andy started to take her job more seriously and asked Nigel for help. The challenges of the job pushed her to explore her 3 wing more. She was telling herself that she abandons her values just to keep the job, but she starts to enjoy the benefits good image gives her. At the same time though, she feels guilty about that, and that's why she gives gifts to her friends and tries to make it up for her boyfriend who doesn't appreciate this change. Also all of her friends and boyfriend really showcase unhealthy 4 behaviors too, contempting her for being so much on Miranda's whim but also secretly envying her for becoming successful and fitting in more than them. They're kinda at the stage Andy was at the beginning of the movie, when she was laughing at people being concerned with image, while she was the funny one herself. For a moment Andy gets tempted by this 3ish world of prestige through the trip to Paris and the guy who's interested in her. Looks like her previous life was crappier, but then she starts to see the dark side of it: Miranda's loneliness and the premise of her getting coldly replaced by someone new. She sees how fake everyone to Miranda is, and that reminds her old values and who she really is. And in the moment Miranda actually starts appreciating her and is ready to introduce her to the path of a successful career woman, she decides that while it is actually good for her to fit in more, this is not her world. That's how she finds balance between her 4 core and 3 wing. She sticks to her values and true self, and decides to not be swayed by the plastic world of prestige and fame, but also doesn't reject it all together like before. She knows now that she doesn't have to be different to be special, and she can enjoy a little bit of both worlds. So there's a moment of disintegration to 2, exploration of 3 wing and in the end ending up at healthier level of type 4. Important note too is that Miranda said that the only reason she gave Andy the job was because she saw herself in her. She was bored with all other candidates trying to please her. She chose Andy because she was different. And guess what: Miranda is 3w4, a similar type.
