Just rewatched the episodes, so here’s a case for INFP (obvs these arguments are gonna be flimsy): - being spacey is just the curse of the INXP cuz we’re in our own heads a lot lol - both his Fe and Te suck, but his inattentiveness to Retsuko isn’t a clear cut case for inferior Fe. Every time Retsuko was uncomfortable, she phrased her complaints as “don’t YOU feel tired? Don’t YOU feel cold?”, which is an Fe tactic of “I don’t want to be the only one who’s feeling this way, so if he ALSO feels this way then it’s okay”, and to an Fi dom they’re going to take questions like that literally, ‘this person is asking me how I’m feeling as an individual’, and he answers her questions honestly, ‘no, I’m not cold. I’m not tired.’, bc he’s not thinking about shared feelings at all. In his mind, she would just say how she’s feeling without letting his feelings affect hers in any way. - Offering Retsuko a tissue also isn’t necessarily a sign of Fe, to me it seems more like a weak Te gesture, like when Ton offers to pay off Retsuko’s debt. It’s offering help in a practical sense, not an emotional one. - I think him owning a ton of plants speaks for Fi over Fe, Fe users prefer pets that will give them some kind of emotional response, give them affection, be sad so they can make them feel better, etc. As a Ti dom I really don’t see the appeal of tending to plants, it doesn’t engage my thoughts and offers me nothing emotionally. - He never talks about the logic of things, only talks about the things he likes or dislikes. He doesn’t come up with any date ideas of his own(or any ideas of his own really), instead just doing exactly what his friend told him to do.

In both series, Resasuke is a red panda who's a love interest for Retsuko. However, in the TBS series, he doesn't talk and is only seen from afar. The Netflix series expands on this, with him gaining an actual voice and small story arc. He's described as plain-faced and a bit of a loner.
