Fi- Ronnie feels things deeply. Since her parents divorced, she internalizes everything. She doesn’t forgive her dad because she sees him as leaving them. She doesn’t care much about fitting in with others her age, and she prefers things that aren’t mainstream. Se- Ronnie lives in the moment. She stays out on the beach all night to make sure the turtle eggs are safe. To get away from her dad and brother, she goes to the carnival. Ni- When Ronnie believes something, her thoughts can’t be changed on it. Rather than seeing multiple perspectives, she tends to only see what aligns with her beliefs at the time. Te- Due to her sensitivity, she lashes out often. She lashes out at her dad the most because she feels like he betrayed their family. Throughout most of the movie, Ronnie is in an Fi-Te loop, and this is especially the case when she interacts with her dad.
