I’m not going to lie when I say I thought he was an si dom after watching season 1. Si-Te seemed very fitting for his character from what I had seen. But after finishing season 2 and seeing more of his character it is very obvious that he is a strong Ni user (his tendencies about the whole plot surrounding the hunt for the cross). I think the reason he was mistaken as an ISTJ is because he does fit that stereotype, especially in season 1, where in my opinion we did not get to see a lot of his character at all.
Biografie
Pope Heyward (Portrayed by Jonathan Daviss) is the smartest of the Pogues and has a scholarship on the line — his ticket to a life outside of the Outer Banks. John B describes Pope as 'the brains on the operation'. Although Pope is always up for an adventure with his friends, he is also the cautionary voice in the group. He is constantly thinking of possible consequences to their actions and warns the group when he feels that they are about to do something stupid. His warnings, however, often fall on deaf ears.
