in no way is Joyce an INFP. as others have said, his writing style and thematic development in his works is convergent (Ni), not divergent (Ne). his tertiary Ti and inferior Se are also very apparent, given how he brilliantly combined his Ti with his Ni in his works to objectively analyze and discuss the human condition. as for his inferior Se, Joyce was known for his alcoholism and attempts to live a luxurious life beyond his means; he even described himself as "a man of small virtue, inclined to extravagance and alcoholism"

James Augustine Aloysius Joyce (2 February 1882 – 13 January 1941) was an Irish novelist, short story writer, and poet. He contributed to the modernist avant-garde and is regarded as one of the most influential and important authors of the 20th century. Joyce is best known for Ulysses (1922), a landmark work in which the episodes of Homer's Odyssey are paralleled in a variety of literary styles, perhaps most prominently stream of consciousness.
