okay, first of all, my apologizing thay I have no knowledge bout sconics (yet) so my analysis will based on cognitive function of mbti. he (definetely) an INFJ according to these trails: (I try not to be stereotypical too much) - Ni dom: He is a astrophysics professor (which subject mostly need Ni to see the root of everything), he "randomly" do a research about the weird paper at first without knowing anything about it, his curiousity!! he also realized things to fast (stereotypically). He chased after strangers/trails/suspicion to follow his ideal/realization about Lucinda's oracle. He actively drive to the school to find the old remained numbers on the cabinet door. - Fe aux: He litteraly run into the fire after the plane crashed, that is a notorious trail of Fe users. He chose to protect his son quietly, without telling him about the paper although his son seemed angry about this, it might be because he still have a little unsure about the oracle (Ni dom + Fe aux). He tried to told the young lady and her kid to get down the dangerous train, although it is in an emergency case. At the end, he encouraged his son to a better world, left him behind, he said litteraly nothing about himself, just "WE will stay together forever, don't worrry." After that, he returned to his house with his parents although they have conflicts before (stereotypically) - Ti ter: "Reasoning". He tried his best to find the answer for everything. He had unstable sleeping schedule and timetable. - Se inferior: He found new information on the Internet. He went outside to check if it was true or not. He tried to ask a stranger, approach Diana just to ask for Lucinda. I'm sorry if it sounds too stereotypical (anyway) In my opinion he definetely not a ISTJ. He was not too into past trauma (yes he still use his normal weak Si, it's too hurt to forget. but he still managed to move on, have a really better life with his son and now he tries to protect everyone else and his son.) I can't explain too much bout Te-Ti, my apologies. I don't see any trail bout Fi user anyway. He don't subconsciously mentioned himself for once, he just consciously says sorry to everything even though it's not his fault (Diana's death).
