Spoilersssssssssss read at own rrisk (Minor spoilers for Death note and FMA) I am extremely undecided over his Enneagram (3w4 so/sx or 7w8 sx/sp) but this man is very evidently a clear ENTP (a sadly really unhealthy one) Ne+Ti: highly inquisitive and seeks out unorthodox ideas. Despite the fuss over Dialga vs Palkia, Volo constantly looked beyond that insearch for a greater truth as he felt the definitions of time and space were too limiting. Aux Ti draws links between the existence of the plates to that of Arceus. Tert Fe: able to adopt a multitude of personas to hide his true agenda and present himself in the way he wants to be perceived by others (a very childish unrestrained usage of Fe). Social Chameleon Inf Si: Volo has a goal but not a concrete plan. He doesn't have any use of routine nor details in his means to work towards his goal. His usage of Si is infact rather childish in that he becomes obssesive and tunnel visioned, choosing to focus on the "one truth" known as Arceus, desperately clinging on to this discovery of Arceus he made in the past. A detail which he refuses to let go of. Also please the man is no ENTJ. I doubt a man of pragmatism (Te dom) would go on this wild goose chase with no concrete actions he can take to re affirm his goal at each juncture. Yes ENTJs can be idealistic (look at Light Yagami/Roy Mustang) but the thing is that these ENTJs despite their idealism, fundamentally rely on concrete realisable goals that they can execute as they progress towards their goal ( Tert Se supporting aux Ni and Dom Te). If anything INTJs would be a better fit given that they are not as results oriented as the ENTJ with their Te being aux instead of dom. The dom Ni paired with the tert Fi could also be a better explanation on his fixation on Arceus. Hence the fixation on the goose chase despite the lack of recognizable results. Even with that said i find Fi usage extremely unlikely for Volo. The man lacks any demonstration of Fi interms of self expression, he is a social Chameleon. Not saying that INTJs can't do that (alot can) is just that he lacks the belief of right and wrong or a system of values commonly associated with Fi usage. But yes do lemmme know what yall think. For now i am pretty settled on ENTP for Volo and i think it is really cool that he is ENTP with Cynthia being INFJ hahaha love that they share the same axis. As for the enneagram i need to read up more. But one thing that i just want to raise is that not all academically inclined individuals are type 5 or have a 5 fix (sincerely a former 5-fix individual since i thought it represented my love for the quest for knowledge.)

Volo (Japanese: ウォロ Volo) is one of the Ginkgo Guild merchants. He is the only character in the games to have the Trainer classes Ginkgo Guild Member (Japanese: イチョウしょうかい Ginkgo Merchant Guild) and Pokémon Wielder (Japanese: ポケモンつかい Pokémon User). He bears a striking resemblance to Cynthia, but the relationship between the two, if any, is unknown. #ENTJVillains
