Princess Ella is the princess of the planet Gemini. She was captured by Queen Halle when Queen Halle attacked Gemini. Ella gave the Night Star Box to her sister Emma when Queen Halle attacked them, so Queen Halle wouldn't get to the Night Star Box and rule over them.
