He may have had his awful moments. Aemmas death was tragic and cruel. But honestly, he was a badass. Him entering the hall showed basically the pinnacle of SO 9. His desire for harmony and love and respect between the famiky almost seemed like it would win, and he died believing in it. He had been brave in his childhood and was the last one to ever ride the biggest dragon in the world. But although he seemed to get Feeble, Viserys showed in the last few episodes his dedication and loyalty; and his love for his family as tragic as it was. Really, blood was thicker than water for him.

King Viserys I Targaryen, remembered as Viserys the Peaceful, was the fifth king of the Targaryen dynasty to rule the Seven Kingdoms. He briefly rode Balerion the Black Dread in his youth before the dragon's death of old age.
