I think his Te is stronger than his Fe, besides, there is one thing the difference between how a Fe user and a Te user talk. Fe users almost always try to adapt to a person they are capable of switching the subject but they try to establish a connection (I'm an INFJ and I Do this), while Te users prefer talking about logical theories, or abstract concepts, rather than trying to adapt or match the other's energy (It seems a stereotype but I had many ENTJ's friend and the fkrs literally only talk about scientifical theories). If I had to pick between one of the two for Lane I would choose the second one. But if you could argue it right I can totally see him also as an INFJ in the loop. Regardless of his personality type.
