I believe that Himiko is in an Ni-Ti loop when we meet her in the game. She is so focused on the bigger picture of finding Oni Island, saving the land from darkness, and her purpose in connection with the crystal ball that she skips auxiliary Fe--her social role in the outer world as queen--and to Ti, which is independent of social role and sees things impartially.
