This girl has a brother who absolutely adores her, she grew up clean and wealthy, and yet she chooses to live a filthy, degrading, dishonorable life. You can write characters better than this, seriously. Especially the female characters in this movie. Maybe there are other people in the world who could end up in such a pathetic state, but those would genuinely be people who have suffered severely.
