Harper McLean tipo de personalidade mbti

Personalidade

"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Harper McLean? Harper McLean es un tipo de personalidad ISFP en mbti, 4w5 - sx/sp - 468 en enneagram, RLUEN en Big 5, ESI en Socionics."

Harper is a sexual 6 rather than a sexual 4. She appears 8 like because she takes on an image of strength especially after the incident. She is driven by a search for security. Sexual 4s however have more of a focus on competition. While they also try to cover up a sense of inferiority or fear. They do it by trying to be "the best". First the core descriptions. -Core 4: Passion: Envy "The passion of Envy causes the Four to be temperamental, as they believe that they are fundamentally lacking or flawed, missing something that others have. Fours have a focus on suffering. They use pain as revenge, have an unconscious hope of obtaining love through suffering, " Harper's passion isn't Envy nor does she seem to belive that she is fundamentally flawed. Yes she is focused on her suffering and what happened to her which we can see in her entire behavior throughout the show especially in how she acts towards Amerie. She doesn't try to get her revenge on her though. Amerie gets ostracized by the other students and her friends but that wasn't Harper's goal. She just shuts Amerie out/acts aggressively towards her because she sees Amerie as a threat to her comfort since she blames her for what happened. This focus on protection fits way more with a type 6. -Core 6: Passion: Fear/Anxiety "The passion of Fear/Anxiety causes the Six to be suspicious and worried, as they are aware of what could go wrong and don’t want to be endangered or put their trust into the wrong people or beliefs." These subtype descriptions encapsulate this well. -Sexual 6: "The countertype of the Type Six subtypes, the Sexual Six is the most counterphobic Six, the one who turns against the passion of fear by assuming a stance of strength and intimidation. Instead of actively feeling fearful, these Sixes have an inner belief that when you are afraid, the best defense is a good offense. As Naranjo explains, anxiety in this Six is allayed by skill and readiness in the face of a possible attack. They often appear bold and even fierce. They go against danger assertively, and even aggressively, as a way of denying and coping with their (often unconscious) fear. Through denying their feelings of fear to one extent or another, Sexual Sixes go against danger from a position of strength; therefore, they have a passion for searching for or securing a position of strength. And it's not just a strong character they seek, but the kind of strength that makes somebody else afraid-they want to assume a powerful enough to hold the enemy at a distance. These Sixes display a forcefulness that comes from not wanting to be weak, and they don't allow for weakness in themselves." -Sexual 4: "In the Sexual Four subtype, the inner motivation is envy, and its manifestation as competition. These Fours don't feel consciously envious so much as they feel competitive as a way of muting the pain associated with envy. If they can compete against another person they perceive as having more than they do and win, they can feel better about themselves. People with this subtype tend to have an “all or nothing” belief related to success: if success is not all theirs, they are left with nothing. This pattern leads to excesses related to their efforts to achieve success, and it also generates feelings of hate. Sexual Fours are usually arrogant, despite having an underlying sense of inferiority. In the face of the pain of feeling misunderstood, an arrogant attitude is adopted as overcompensation- a means of being recognized. These Fours like being part of “chosen” group, and they can be very elitist." As I mentioned above Harper isn't driven by envy. While her starting a relationship with Dusty, knowing that her ex best friend has had a crush on him for ages, is certainly ******, she doesn't do it to hurt Amerie but because she seeks comfort. Also unlike a sexual 4 she isn't fixed on status. That is apparent in when Amerie confronts her in front of everyone about the situation with Jojo and Haprer decides to take the blame even though she didn't do it. Why would she do that if she cared so much about her reputation? She isn't friends with the popular kids because they are popular, they just are her friends. Harper wants to protect herself, she wants to be secure.
