IMO Easterman is a clear example of E2, not E8. Both types can be known for their strong egos and other similar characteristics, but a key difference lies in how they respond to rejection. Unhealthy 8's are more likely to respond directly with anger and force. They have no problem voicing their disdain for something/someone and can even resort to insults, threats and intimidation to get what they want. If they can't convince you to agree with them, they might push you away to retain a sense of control and to keep up their tough exterior. This ties into their core fear of being controlled by others and their general aversion towards authority. 2's can also respond aggressively obviously, but they tend to do it more covertly under the guise of love. They need to feel important to those around them or else they see themselves as failures undeserving of love. Because of this, unhealthy 2's are more likely to resort to guilt tripping as a form of manipulation, insisting that they always know what's best for everyone in hopes of getting people to listen to them. They often take rejection personally, thinking it's a sign of ungratefulness and not being appreciated enough. The latter is Easterman to a T, as seen in pretty much all of his dialogue in the game. I would love to hear other opinions though!
