I see how you could be torn between INTJ and INTP, at first I thought he was an INTJ too. Imo he has too much of a conflict avoidant personality to be an INTJ (Like how he worries about talking to the neighbors about their loudness at night, not wanting to cause any conflict, additionally to not wanting to take the risk, because "what if the guy is some super buff scary dude?"). He is more of a warmer person that struggles with social contact even though he wants to take part in it and doesn't really display a lot of the "performance anxiety" that makes a lot of INTJs. INTJs also are more about their own thoughts and opinions, with their Fe blindness causing them to appear cold and too opinionated and critical at times, which I don't see in him. It's difficult to see the Se blindness, since we don't get much insight on how he perceives the world and I think he also doesn't have that super apparent Se blindness. For the Ne aux I'd take the way he talks about books and his own book as an example, the way what he noticed irl inspired his creativity. You see that a lot in Ne users. I also think that 1w9 is quite accurate for him. When healthy, he gets traits of a 7, being more outwardly oriented and being more in the moment. When he's stressed, he prefers dealing with it alone. He has a very strong 9 wing though, he hates conflict. We can see that when he meets Momo's mom, he's very happy to have a good and easygoing atmosphere only for Momo (someone with an 8 fix and not an ounce of 9) to destroy that, which he's absolutely devastated at. (We see him being visibly shaken up about Momo provoking conflict). Also, when he worries about confronting his neighbor. He dealt with it quite a while until it became enough of a problem that it wasn't ignorable anymore, he was worried about conflict with his neighbor. But also- how so/sp over sp/so? So1 is all about being motivated by fairness and morality in the world around them, while Sp1 is more about worry and trying to avoid risks. I see him much more in that. All in all, I think INTP 1w9 fits pretty well, but I'm definitely up for talking about it. Not sure abt the RCOAI tho, was torn between RCOAI AND RCOEI.
