"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Ula-Nara Ruyi? Ula-Nara Ruyi es un tipo de personalidad INFP en mbti, 9w1 - sx/so - 946 en enneagram, RCOAI en Big 5, EII en Socionics."
Do people who voted ISFJ even watch the show? Where is Fe-Ti? Everything about her personality screams Fi, the entire show itself is also a Fi-dom manifesto: "Be yourself even if the world is against you". And how the hell is her Ne inferior? - From the beginning to end Ruyi is always HERSELF, she lives by her own values, she acts on behalf of her belief and way of thinking (Fi). She is very contemplative and optimistic, question the overall standard and social norms even if she never strongly expresses it, constantly pondering numerous "what if" questions throughout the show, open to all possibilities and believe in good ends (Ne). Ruyi however is still very disciplined, practical and also pretty nostalgic sometimes, recalling her past and the people she knew, shown clearly in the last episode (well developed tert Si, probably due to good education being from a noble family). - Ruyi doesn't care about her status in the Royal family, she doesn't seek external approvals. She values the love between her and the Emperor most out of everything, which tragically is what causes her the most pain and suffering. But even that she doesn't care about HIS approvals regrading her talents or capabilities, she only cares if he loves her genuinely and trust her. - In episode 5, Ruyi has a conversation with Emperor Qianlong after the talk with Western craftsman, which later causes outrage among the harem, really show her Ne explicitly: + "Your Majesty, what if every man in China only has one wife and no concubines? He only shares his love with that one woman and they live as a true loving couple" + "I find it very interesting that husbands in the West can only have one wife and no other, and women also has the right to divorce her husband" + "Why can't women leave the men when they no longer love each other?" Of course the Emperor gets mad at her and scolds her right after. Now imagine for me a woman leads with Si-Fe living in feudal time China questioning polygamy with the EMPEROR, especially when already knowing that it's a taboo. - When she was wrongly accused of killing two unborn princes and put into the deserted "Cold Palace", she's still pretty optimistic and believe that there will be a day when she will be free again. Quote from the talk with Ling Yunche: "How do you know I will not be released from this place?". Pondering on numerous scenarios, believe in good outcomes, questioning reality and social norms is very Ne-likely. - Ruyi is never a people-pleaser or seeking image, she doesn't care if the majority of the harem's concubines and even the Empress herself hate her and do schemes against her. She knows who she is and is comfortable with herself. She's willing to break rules, or even go against the Emperor's will to protect what matters to her, she's always a rebel in her own way, uncompromisingly. Some other quotes from her that indicate Fi: - "Living in Royal Palace, the only thing we can hold onto is genuine bond and connections, if even that is lost, then what else are we left with Hailan?" - "I'm still wondering til this day, why is the only way of upholding the glory and prosperity of Ulanala family, is to become an Empress?" - "I'm already an Empress, my Dowager, but that is never what I want, or at least I can say that I never want the status of an Empress, I just want to be the Emperor's wife, to have his love, to be by his side, to chase away his loneliness" - "I might not know much about the position of an Empress, I might not know much about the Emperor, but I know myself" - "Aunt, I've always wanted to ask you, has there ever been a single day that you felt happy living in this Palace? If you have never felt happy, why do you still force yourself? Women from our family has always been shackled by the pledge to keep the Ulanala's glory going. But I don't want to be like you, and I wish from now on, no other woman from our family has to be a Royal concubine anymore"
