Vanessa Wye tipo de personalidade mbti
Personalidade
"¿Qué tipo de personalidad es Vanessa Wye? Vanessa Wye es un tipo de personalidad INFP en mbti, 4w5 - so/sx - 495 en enneagram, RLUEI en Big 5, IEI en Socionics."
I'm only halfway through the book, so maybe I shouldn't be making an argument so fast, but bear with me.. First order of business: INFP is pretty obvious, I mean, look at her, so I think I wanna take time to talk about her enneagram subtype, because she kind of fits into all of them. I settled with so/sp because of how well she fits the social subtype, but I definitely see the self-preservation leaking through, and to me it seems like the two work together strongly. I was considering putting sx in her subtype, considering how jealous she gets throughout the novel (ex, writing the b-word on ms. thompson's board [which, lmao], snapping at jenny for being jealous of her plus her bf, etc etc) but I decided that the way other four subtypes express envy is more similar to her. Anyways, the way I think that she fits the social four stereotype is pretty obvious, how deeply she feels emotions, a belief that her suffering makes her special (the borderline superiority fifteen-year-old her felt for being in a relationship with her teacher, which she tried to deny was traumatic, I think this is the stoic SP leaking in as well), her self-sabotaging nature, and the overall comfort she feels in dwelling on her melancholic and traumatic past. Something else, she is always in competition with others and herself, even if she doesn't know this. Fifteen-year-old Vanessa was always fighting others unconsciously for Mr. Strane's attention (again, Ms. Thompson is a great example). She also tries to deny that she was a victim of gr0oming, r4pe, etc, from Mr. Strane, even though accepting this would be immensely liberating for her. This attempt to not victimize oneself if very common among social fours, as well as self-preservation fours. She's also of course very dependent on others. Her feelings of being a misfit, not getting along with anyone her age, all made her very vulnerable to Mr. Strane's manipulation. I have the /sp because we see a stoic motivation behind a lot of what I said previously, and I think it's especially apparent in the 2017 chapters. In these chapters, especially the first ones, we see her blindly believe that she willingly engaged in the relationship, that Mr. Strane isn't a gr0omer, but we all know this isn't true. the reality is that she's repressing the truth so that this source of dependency of hers doesn't leave her (again, very so four mixed with sp four). This is such a bad explanation but it's the best I can do when I'm only on page 154 and it's 11:00 pm. lol. So far, the book has been great but a horrible reading experience. ykwim? And I also am constantly angry at Mr. Strane, really hope for nothing but the worst for him.. I'm also finding myself getting angry at Vanessa occasionally as well... oh INFP 4w5s, I like you guys but I don't know if I'll ever understand why you do what you do--like with all due respect, y'all have some of the WORST decision making skills I have ever seen. But anyways, I have hope for Vanessa and I'll be praying for her recovery! (no spoilers pls)
