6w7 suits naoki so much more than 7w6. his loyalty to trapnest is essential to his character. he puts up with the intensity of their career/schedule, because he wants the security and safety of belonging to that group. he's willing to do so much for them. he's skeptical and fearful of others at first, because he's projecting his feelings of fear. he made it clear that he disliked and was distrustful of hachi before meeting her. he probably worried she would hurt takumi. still, he warmed up to hachi quickly and became an ally to her. naoki's very attached to those close to him. also, 6w7s are known to be shallow, and he definitely is (in an endearing way!) if naoki was a a 7 core rather than a 6, he wouldn't have stuck with trapnest. he would've opted for something offering him more freedom, but security and loyalty are (slightly) more important to him than that. 6w7s can be relaxed and playful as well; it's not exclusive to 7 cores. the 7 wing does influence him, but his core type is doubtlessly 6. if anyone has an argument for 7w6, let me know! his side story from the manga really enhanced my understanding of his motivations, so i recommend reading it if you haven't!
